A Lutheran pastor, manga artist and singer-songwriter. His career as a manga artist started in 1992 when he won the "Seesaw Prize" (2nd Prize) at Kodansha's "Chiba Tetsuya Prize" and debuted in the weekly manga magazine "Shukan Morning". He started to use CG in manga at a very early stage in 1993.

The usual progress of action hero stories is that the main character gets stronger and stronger by overcoming many challenges. To be honest, I totally love that! Just when you think now it's all over reinforcements arrive or the hero gains new powers and is able to turn the situation around. This catharsis is so fascinating! I really hope that NOBUNAGIRL 's story unfolds like that.
